Ray Montie Ambit Learning Center – Can Leadership Development Help Direct Sales?

Ray Montie Ambit is starting an interesting new business. He works with Ambit Energy, which which is an energy company that uses motivational speakers, executive education programs, and Motivational Leadership Training to entrepreneurs and individuals to grow their Ambit Energy sales teams. Now, he is attempting to be a leader in the Direct Selling Industry.

Ray is a very good person and he is very good at what he does. Plus, I think he is the type of guy who would try to teach you something in his life that he took the time to learn himself. If it helps people, then why not introduce something that could help people. This is at least my belief.

Let’s be honest, Ray is a great leader. This is Al Mohler’s speech, founder and keynote speaker of Sales Training Institute. In one his books that the purpose of leadership “is not to create leaders but to recognize that leadership exists.” Well, this is definitely true and I like his use of the word realization here, because the purpose of leadership is to realize that there is a difference between Leadership and Real Estate Marketing. Leadership is a calling and real estate marketing is just business.

So, I’d like to talk about this a little bit more. Leadership is knowing what you are doing, having a vision for your future, motivating and inspiring your troops, being able to hold everyone accountable, creating a vision that everyone is going to get excited about, and knowing that your role in your business will be epic. Ray is known for reading books such as Think and Grow Rich, The Magic of Making Money, and the series of DVDs that have sold millions. All these have been well received and have certainly helped those who have bought them. I can’t say I’ve read all of them though. The Kindle edition of Think and Grow Rich was very useful.

Ray Montie is a great leader and mentor. Ray Montie has taught me so many things about leadership and selling direct. He has definitely been able to develop his leadership skills into a business where others can recognize him. Ray helps people who get into direct selling offering training and leadership development.

Ray’s leadership skills have been a great example to me. I think he could be a good teacher for others about how to succeed in business. Unfortunately, many people don’t have the right training when they get into a direct selling business. As a result, people end up quitting and never making any money.

But with Ray, I saw exactly what I was dealing with. The problem was that I didn’t understand that it was the process that matters too, to get the results desired.  His talk would be about the tasks that were ahead of us and what we should do to get there. If you’re a bad car driver, keep practicing driving, until you become better. The same is true with direct selling, keep practicing the skills you learn from Ray & you will keep getting better & growing your team.

Ray’s Ambit Energy sales mentoring was the perfect solution to my problem. Following the training I was able to see that leadership skills were a necessity. Ray’s Ambit Ambit Energy sales mentoring also offers leadership training every phone call meeting so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible for me to do the same. Ray helped helped me tremendously.
